About Christine Cowan
I qualified as a Dramatherapist in 1996 at the University of Hertfordshire, England after a career in Education.
I have a B.A. in English and Political Science, a Post-Grad Diploma in Education, an M.A. in Modern Literature and Drama with Commendation, and a Post-Grad. Diploma in Dramatherapy.
I have worked in America, New Zealand, and the U.K. with clients from the age of eleven with a range of pathologies which include Special Needs, Attachment, Trauma, Factitious Disorder, Eating Disorders, Substance and Sexual Abuse, Depression, Dissociative Disorder, Bereavement, Offending, and the Homeless.
I have worked at Queen's University, Belfast since 2019 as an Academic Mental Health Tutor.
I am a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists.
